ISOC Charity Week!

Salams and greetings to all.

Southampton Uni ISOC is participating in the FOSIS Charity Week this week (1 Nov-7 Nov).

The ultimate vision of Charity Week is to become a vehicle to inspire Muslim students to become active, socially engaged and united upon Islam. Raising money to help countless Orphans & Needy Children across the World - a beautiful bonus! All donations will be given to the Islamic Relief charity. Give your full support and give a donation, even if it's just a pound.

Islamic Relief is an international aidand development charity, which aims to alleviate the suffering of the world's poorest people. It is an independent Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) founded in the UK in 1984 by Dr Hany El Banna.

As well as responding to disasters and emergencies, Islamic Relief promotes sustainable economic and social development by working with local communities - regardless of race, religion or gender.

For more information about the organisation, visit: http://www.islamic-relief.org.uk/

Remember the Qu'ran says:
"Spend (in charity) of the good things that you earn." [Qu'ran 2:267]
also.....
"Whoever saved a life, if would be as if he saved the life of all mankind" [Qu'ran 5:32]
